Test with v shape silicone rubber profiles .
The silicone profiles o ring automatic splicing welding machine is designed for cutting the extruded silicone profiles into fixed cutting length ,automatical dipping glue on both ends of silicone profiles (glue dipping times can be set on the machine ),auatomatically place glue dipped gaskets in the hot mold to reach a joints , the hot mold are made with cavitiy based on gaskets profile size
We had run the test for v shape silicone profile gaskets from our customer with our silicone o ring cutting and bonding machine ES-060

TEST REPORT
Silicone profile o ring splicing machine ES-060
1,Unit cutting length: 1000mm
2,Cutting length tolerance :15mm(due to the gaskets size different)
3, Bonding strength is very good (pulling against a 4kg fire distinguisher to reach large elongation of silicone profiles)
4, Bonding trace is small with little adhesive residue , but joint is a little dislocation (due to the gasket size difference)
5,Mold Heat press temperature: 220 ℃
6,Bonding (silicone adhesive curing )time :7 Seconds
Problem 1,Cutting length tolerance :15mm(due to the gaskets size different)
REASON , The extruded V shape silicone gaskets is much different in cross section sizes
For the cutting length tolerance is high as 15mm from the shortest length to longest length of v shape gaskets , the reason is that
customer's v shape gaskets sizes are much different in size ,some are big and some are small .
below gasket is larger one and it is pulled tightly and cause the cutting length difference to the small size ones which is pulled to length at ease .
SOLUTION
1, On the fixture mold which is downside the knife, we can make the mold cavity based on the largest cross section size v shape gaskets ,
so all the gaskets will go through the fixture mold cavity without much pulling and tightness .
2, On customer's side , customer can extrude the v shape silicone gaskets in good quality and make sure the cross section size are the same and size in good stability ,
maybe you can adjust based on good baking temperature and good silicone material in extrusion process , so this v shape silicone profile welding machine can process them
well .
Problem 2, Joint is a little dislocation (due to the gasket size different)
We found 3 out of 10 bonded o ring gaskets are a little dislocated on the joints , please find photo below .
and we found the dislocation problem might also be attributed to customer's v shape gaskets size much difference issue ,below photo demonstration .
on same horizon of a desk , one end gasket is on low end and other end gasket is on high end , we can cleary see the problem is due to cross section size
difference from one extruded silicone gaskets
Solution
Try to extrude the v shape gaskets in stable size will be good to solve such dislocation problem .
Summary
The silicone profiles o ring automatic splicing welding machine can process v shape gaskets in good quality , bonding strength is good
and cutting length tolerance will be small as long as the fixtures are made correctly and customer's extrusion profiles are extruded in good quality and stable size .
that's also foundation for bonding o rings with nice joints without dislocation .
We are going to commence the tests silicone o ring profile automatic welding machine for half square and half round size gaskets profiles in the next day and will update test
report in detail. and send back the processed oring to customer for further evaluation . Complete test reports are also made to customer the extruded silicone o ring profiles
