The silicone o ring automatic splicing machine is designed for automatically process extruded silicones into silicone o ring gaskets  , 15 pcs extruded silicone gaskets can be loaded on the machine feeder shelf , they are in straight line position after passing through an individual fixtures and do not cross each other in transporting process . the loaded silicone gaskets will be fed automatically to the silicone o ring automatic splicing tool for processing . the mechanical hands will draw the silicone gaskets into fixed cutting length , the knife cut off the cutting length and the two mechanical hands will dip the two end gaskets with silicone adhesive against the glue brush boards , the adhesive dipping time can be set on the machine ,usually we dip glue two times on the gasket ends ,after dipping glue, the two gaskets ends will be placed in the hot mold precisely . after hot mold ,the collection hand will take bonded o rings from the hot mold and put in the collection boxes , that's full cycle movement of  this silicone o ring automatic splicing machine. the bonded silicone o ring gaskets is nice joints ,strong bonding strength and small cutting length tolerance .

Below introduction of machine detail how automatical making of silicone oring is possible

by the movement support of below parts . 

 

Feeder 

1,Every loaded gaskets are transported by one individual transport wheels to feed gaskets smoothly

to the machine for processing . the transport wheel will press down and roll gaskets foward 

when the sensor wheels are pull upwards by the gaskets in transporting process . 

2, Every gaskets pass down through one individual sensor wheels , the sensor wheel will be pulled upwards 

by the gaskets in transporting process  and the sensor wheel will signal the transport wheel to feed more gaskets

3, Every extruded gaskets go through one individual fixture, they are in straight line and

do not cross each other ,making sure the feeding of 15 pcs are smooth .

Mechanical hands 

4, The first  duty of the two mechanical hands is to draw the silicone gaskets to fixed cutting length ,the length

drawing speed can be set based on shore hardness of the silicone seals , the length drawing speed can be 

set less and low shore hardness speed can be set more for length drawing speed .

the second duty is dip both ends of silicone gaskets with silicone adhesive against the glue brush boards , the glue dipping times is

twice usually and can be set more 

The third duty of the two mechanical hands is to place the adhesive dipped gaskets ends precisely into the hot mold for hot bond

5, there are two glue brush boards which are placed on two sides of the machine , one glue brush board

for dipping glue with left end gasket and the other glue brush board on the right to dip glue with right end of gaskets . 

after each dipping of gaskets ,the glue brush boards will brush glue on the glue brush board for once or twice ,back and forth 

to make sure there are alway glue on the brush boards for dipping purpose.

6, The hot mold will heat adheive to cure and form strong bond of silicone orings ,the bonded o rings 

will be taken by the collection hand , the collection hand will drop bonded orings to transport band

7. The machines applies  PLC touch screen controls ,which can set mold position , main data like 

cutting length ,bonding time and heat temperature etc on the machine and with alarm system

to location problem of the machine and solve the problem accordingly

 1, 15 pieces silicone o ring gaskets can be bonded at the same time ,similar size gaskets can be bonded at the same time ,high productivity reaches 36000pcs /day (based on 10 hour a day and 300-350mm cutting length gaskets)
